SUMMARY:Heavy Equipment Operating Technology Day
DESCRIPTION:The heavy equipment training program at COTC awards a Core Curriculum\, Heavy Equipment Operator Level One\, Two and Three credential from the NCCER: a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health certificate\; a SafeLand Basic Orientation certificate (ID card) for the oil and gas industry\; and CPR/First Aid certification. This one-of-a-kind hands-on training program offers a combination of classroom and seat time (actual hands-on operation of all heavy equipment common to construction sites) that provides the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to obtain employment in multiple industries.\n\n\n\nCentral Ohio Technical College has partnered with Performance Training So lutions (PTS) to offer this degree and certificate program. PTS is accredited by NCCER and is a member of the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools.
