DESCRIPTION:Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) will present The Heart Truth: A Red Dress Event on Thursday\, February 4\, to encourage women to make heart-healthy lifestyle changes in cooperation with the American Heart Association's (AHA) GO Red for Women Day\, which is celebrated nationally on Friday\, February 5.  The red dress has become a national symbol to increase awareness that heart disease is the number one cause of death for women.  \n\n\n\nFeatured speaker Laurie Schaeffer\, D.O.\, of Licking Memorial Dermatology-Pataksala\, will discuss how to reduce stress in difficult times. \n\nThe program begins at 5:00 pm\, and will last approximately one hour.\n\n\n\nPre-registration is required to receive the link to the event and may be completed by calling Licking Memorial Public Relations at (220)564-1560. Registrants also will be eligible for a prize drawing during the virtual event.\n\n\n\nThe first 300 registrants will receive a special gift to be announced during the virtual event.
