Job Description
The ideal candidate must:
  • Have a Property and Casualty license.
  • Have a minimum of 3-year Insurance industry experience.
  • Have a working knowledge of Agency Management Systems, we use HawkSoft.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Be prompt, punctual, friendly and outgoing.
  • Be self-motivated and an excellent problem solver.
Job duties include:
  • Greet visiting customers and provide them with necessary assistance.
  • Project a professional image in alignment with the reputation of Belt Insurance.
  • Analyze customer’s complaints and recommend solutions.
  • Document all conversations with clients with details of inquiries or complaints and action steps that were taken.
  • Maintain strong clientele relationship with customers.
  • Send newsletters, mailings, and other forms of correspondences to customers.
  • Understand the company’s insurance policies.
  • Ensure that customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information.
  • Discuss with customers on telephone and provide information on the company’s products and services.
  • Communicate changes or adjustment in policies to clients.
  • Receive reports of claims and communicate reports of investigation to the clients.
  • Forward all filed claims to the appropriate department for handling and investigation.
  • Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies.
  • Offer information about price quotes to prospective customers.
  • Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Office hours:
  • 9-5 Monday thru Wednesday, 8 - 5 Thursday, 8 – 3 Fridays.
