The heavy equipment training program at COTC awards a Core Curriculum, Heavy Equipment Operator Level One, Two and Three credential from the NCCER: a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health certificate; a SafeLand Basic Orientation certificate (ID card) for the oil and gas industry; and CPR/First Aid certification. This one-of-a-kind hands-on training program offers a combination of classroom and seat time (actual hands-on operation of all heavy equipment common to construction sites) that provides the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to obtain employment in multiple industries.
Central Ohio Technical College has partnered with Performance Training So lutions (PTS) to offer this degree and certificate program. PTS is accredited by NCCER and is a member of the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools. PTS is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools.

pizza at the COTC Pataskala campus located at 8660 Broad Street then moves to the Heavy Equipment Land lab at PTS, 7791 Taylor Station Road SW, Reynoldsburg.
Attend this event or another free Heavy Equipment Operator workshop at PTS and receive a $500 scholarship voucher toward program tuition.
